Video is an artistic discipline driven by technology. In our Visual Engineering Lab, we conduct research on various mechanical devices that will help us create new kinds of visual effects. Our team of two cinematographers and numerous machine engineering directors work together to develop the equipment needed for more masterful visual presentation.

#1 Micro-speed Turntable & Controller

The turntable is an essential tool in product photography. From low-speed to high-speed rotations, smooth and fluid movements ensure that the product shines. With very small items like jewelry, it is common to use use macro lenses. But if the turntable motor, rotating at a low speed, causes vibrations, the shot or clip cannot be used. This is why YGP has developed a micro-speed turntable that, unlike conventional turntables, does not cause vibrations, even when operating at a low speed. The Micro-speed Turntable enables perfect visual play even when shooting small items. It can hold items up to 100 kilograms in weight, and the table can be replaced if needed to hold heavier items such as TVs.
제품 촬영의 경우 턴테이블은 필수적인 장비입니다. 저속부터 고속 회전까지 부드러운 움직임은 제품을 더욱더 빛나게 합니다. 쥬얼리와 같은 제품들은 매우 작기때문에 마크로 렌즈로 촬영할 경우가 많습니다. 이때 저속에서 턴테이블 모터의 떨림 현상이 발생한다면 클립을 사용하지 못하는 상황이 발생할지 모릅니다.
유브갓픽쳐스는 기존 턴테이블 대비 저속 운용에서도 떨림이 없는 마이크로 스피드 턴테이블을 제작하여 아주 작은 제품을 촬영할 경우에도 완벽한 비주얼 플레이를 만들어 낼 수 있는 장비를 제작하여 보유하고있습니다.
100킬로그램까지 버틸수 있는 마이크로 스피드 턴테이블은 테이블 교체만으로 티비 등의 무게감있는 제품까지 커버할 수 있도록 설계되어 다양한 활용을 할 수 있도록 하였습니다.
#2 360 HEAD MOUNT GEAR – 360mbo

360mbo is a head mount rig designed to shoot VR POVs. In the search for the perfect head mount rig, we tried all kinds of existing models and even attempted our own modifications to make them work for our VR content, but each one came with its own share of challenges to be resolved. Eventually, our visual engineering team started designing a customized rig that would make VR POV shots more convenient, and after various stages of refinement, the 360mbo One was born. The 360mbo rig uses the same lens found in the Kodak FixPro and GoPro Entaniya for a flawless VR POV and seamless immersion into the surrounding environment. The Visual Engineering team is continuing to develop and improve our VR photography products in order to provide an optimal VR production experience.
360mbo는 VR POV를 촬영하기 위해 고안된 헤드마운트 리그입니다. 자사의 VR 컨테츠를 만들기위해 수많은 헤드마운트 리그들을 찾고 여러방면을 통해 개조를 시도 하였지만 포멧화 되지않은 리그는 촬영때마다 다른 변수들을 안겨주었습니다. 비주얼엔지니어링 팀은 VR POV샷을 조금 더 편리하게 찍을수있는 리그를 디자인하기 시작하였고 여러 디테일 작업들이 마무리하여 mbo one으로 탄생 시켰습니다.코닥의 픽스 프로와 고프로 엔타니아 렌즈를 활용해 VR POV샷을 완성할 수 있으며 mbo 리그를 통해 주인공 시점이 되어 현장에 있는듯한 몰입감을 선물 합니다. 비주얼 엔지니어링 팀에서는 VR촬영용 프로덕트를 계속해서 발전시켜 가장 이상적인 VR 프로덕션 환경을 제공하기 위한 노력을 합니다.
